The Cobb

This is a shot of the Cobb in Lyme Regis. I’d planned a whistle stop trip down to Dorset to coincide with Spring tide, unfortunately I hadn’t anticipated fog and lots of it, so arrived at the Cobb not even being able to see the end. Stood there for ages mesmerized by the subdues silence everything dulled down, and to be honest after a frantic drive from Suffolk it was just what I needed, totally relaxing, if not cold and wet. Went for a wander round and came back sometime later – the high tide had gone but at least the end of the dock was in full view. This is what I ended up with. I will be going back in Autumn though for the next high tide
